PATRIZIA PEPE GO GREEN – BEACHWEAR COLLECTION

For its first collection entirely dedicated to the world of Swimwear & Beachwear, Patrizia Pepe forgets all about the urban context to dream of the sunny places of a new summer lived in nature, amid secret villas immersed in the Tuscan countryside, and long days on Mediterranean beaches.

The nonchalant and irreverent spirit of the contemporary woman once more embraces the experience of travel to rediscover unforgotten seas and islands, before sunsets and boundless horizons, with a free, relaxed and aware attitude.

A love of nature is also and above all expressed in the exclusive use of responsible yarns and materials which convey a desire for reconnection with the environment, through respect and transparency.

Garments come with special labels that illustrate the origin and composition of fabrics. Viscose comes from responsibly managed forests and supply chains. Certified recycled polyester is sourced from production processes that aim to reduce the consumption of resources. ECONYL® regenerated yarn nylon is made from recycled materials. Recycled plastic turns into a new shopping bag for those last days in the city and long breaks by the sea.

Silhouettes are modern, sinuous, feminine and exalted by laminated and sparkling aspects. Black and mango alternate and mingle in a foliage pattern featuring abstract shapes, with hints of purple and yellow. A love of handmade is conveyed in the multicolour crochet trend which reigns supreme in a capsule collection that exudes haute-bohemian taste.

The look is enriched with fluctuating blouses with gold metal chain belts, multi-way tie tops and sensual lurex mesh dresses. The most versatile items change personality based on styling: the one-piece swimsuit with asymmetric line becomes a bodysuit when matched with palazzo trousers, whereas the printed twill scarf becomes a bandana, sarong and criss-cross band for poolside drinks.
